RED BANK STUDENT MAKES PRESIDENT’S LIST

Junior Kelly Marie Stevens of Red Bank was named to the President’s List at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA for the fall 2013 semester — an academic achievement for which the major in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies met the eligibility criteria of at least 12 graded credit hours, and a GPA of 3.9 or above.

James Madison University also named two other Red Bank students to the Dean’s List for the fall semester, including Allyson Amato, a senior majoring in Communication Studies, and Kelsey McMahon, a sophomore majoring in Modern Foreign Languages.

Other borough natives who made the fall semester Dean’s List at their respective schools include freshman Jenna Wyatt, who was among the more than 2,000 high-achieving students named to the Dean’s List for Fall 2013 by Hofstra University. The Red Bank resident, a Psychology major at the Hempstead, NY campus, met the requirement of at least a 3.4 grade point average to qualify.

At Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA, undergraduate student Lauren Marron met the eligibility criteria of at least 12 credits, and a minimum grade point average of 3.6. Junior Carolyn Oddo made the list as a Music major at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, meeting the requirement of a 3.6 GPA or higher.

Two Red Bank students were also named to the Dean’s List at Alvernia University in Reading, PA — Amanda Galanti (senior with a major in Sport Management), and Kelsey Simonson (sophomore with a major in Occupational Therapy).

Remember: Nothing makes a Red Bank friend happier than to hear "I saw you on Red Bank Green!"
