Here’s the answer to last week’s “Where.”
Last week’s photo was a close up of the top of the columns of the office of the Red Bank Parking Utility at 42 West Front Street, a building inside Riverside Gardens Park. The structure was built along with the park in the mid 1990’s and used on and off again as a snack bar and concession stand before the parking utility converted it to an office in 2020. Since then, it has provided utility employees with a more comfortable office space than their previous home inside trailers at the Chestnut Street public works headqarters.
The river views also provide a calming vibe for any frustrated vehicle owner who might come to the office to report the common problem that when they put their card in the electronic parking kiosk THE STUPID THING DOESN’T WORK AND JUST KEEPS FLASHING “PLEASE INSERT CARD OR PAYMENT!!!!!!
