An officer with the Red Bank Police Department investigates the scene of a single-driver crash on South Street on Wednesday evening.
The crash occurred just before 6 pm when the driver of the white Lexus (pictured) struck a car parked on the curb that happened to belong to former Red Bank Borough Council member Michael Dupont.
Both police officers and members of the Red Bank Fire Department said the car had flipped over before coming to rest in front of 94 South Street. While the RBFD was called to the scene to conduct a possible extraction, the driver was able to exit the vehicle without that intervention. The driver was alert at the scene but was taken to Riverview Medical Center for evaluation.
Information on any summonses issued was not immediately available.
