The Red Bank Zoning Board tabled proposals for both a 43-foot LED  billboard on Newman Springs Road and a new apartment building on lower Broad Street last week.

The advertising company Outfront Media LLC is seeking variances that would allow it to build an LED billboard on the property of Circus Wine Beer & Spirits at 56 Newman Springs Road. That application was carried to the board’s meeting on October 15.

The board had also been scheduled to hear the application by owners of two Victorian homes at 199 and 205 Broad Street who are seeking to connect the two structures with a bridge and build a six-unit apartment building on the parking lot behind them.  Neighbors have voiced opposition to the proposal.

The Zoning Board Thursday forwarded that application to a date to be be determined.
