Pride month is here and in Red Bank, love is in the air. And also painted in the grass at Riverside Gardens Park.
Red Bank’s annual “Pride in the Park” celebration tops the list of things to do in town as summer gets into full gear this weekend. The festivities begin at noon Saturday in Riverside Gardens Park (see flyer below) where the lawn was painted Thursday in what is a now annual tradition.
Red Bank RiverCenter says “the afternoon promises live music, entertainment, local vendors, and opportunities to connect with fellow community members and allies. “

Holiday and Deputy Mayor Kate Triggiano paint the grass for the Pride in the Park Celebration Thursday. “It means the world to me to live in a place that does this when there’s towns all around us that don’t,” Triggiano said during the flag raising ceremony at Borough Hall Friday afternoon.
