ALL SETTLED AFTER CAR FLIP

A black GMC Envoy overturned in Red Bank on Thursday at about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Madison and Branch avenues. Sgt. Mike Furlong was headed to Riverview Medical Center to follow up on the details of the accident by the time it had been cleared, about 12:10 p.m.

Furlong said it appeared that the driver had been turning left onto Branch and skidded, hitting the yellow wire boundary near a telephone pole adjacent to the Molly Pitcher Village Apartments, and flipping over. There was minor damage to the vehicle, which was towed, and the driver sustained minor or no injuries.

“She’s a tough lady,” Furlong said. (Photos by Stacie Fanelli. Click to enlarge.)
