Theft: Multiple bottles of wine were reported stolen and captured on surveillance video on 09/01/2020 in the area of White St. The bottles are described as Opus One valued at $350.00, Caymas Special Select valued at $200.00 and Silver Oak Napa wine valued at $150.00. Ptl. Froilan Hernandez.
A Red Bank man is facing charges of sexual assault on one child and offenses against another.
Police Chief Darren McConnell tells redbankgreen that officers arrested Dannel Wars, 42, of Bank Street on March 12 at Riverview Medical Center, where he was visiting a patient, and charged him with invasion of the privacy of a child and child welfare endangerment.
Javier Sandoval-Villareal, of Shrewsbury Avenue, was arrested August 22 for crimes alleged to have been committed several years ago, Chief Darren McConnell told redbankgreen.
A Rumson woman has accused Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her in 1998, according to news reports Thursday.
Karena Virginia, a 45-year-old life coach and yoga guru, claims that she was waiting for a car at the U.S. Open tennis tournament in Queens, New York, when Trump, whom she had not met, made comments about her body as he walked by before grabbing her by an arm touching her breast, she said at a press conference in New York, according to NBC News.
Benigno Barrios-Arenas, 50, of Shrewsbury Avenue was arrested Thursday and charged with sexually touching an 8-year-old girl in his charge and masturbating in her presence, the report states.
A Red Bank man was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in his home, according to a borough police report.
Jaime Mellado-Luna, 23, of Chapin Avenue, was taken into custody Wednesday on an arrest warrant, according to the report.
The profile photo of the Twitter user identified as “the Sports Guru,” who Curt Schilling said posted offensive comments about his daughter, is the same one used on Facebook by a Brookdale student named Adam Nagel. Both accounts have since been removed. (Click to enlarge)

Brookdale Community College suspended a student Monday after retired baseball great Curt Schilling outed him as one of at least two Twitter posters who tweeted sexually offensive statements about Schilling’s daughter last week.
The student, who was not identified by the school, was among two or more Twitter users who suggested they would sexually assault Schilling’s daughter, Gabby, after her father announced that she would be attending college Salve Regina University in Rhode Island and pitch for the softball team.

Jose Fuentes, 52, was taken into custody Friday, two days after police received information that he had sexually assaulted girls aged 9 and 14 years old over a one- year period, according to police.

It was a tense situation for one Garden State Parkway driver earlier this week who was being chased by a man claiming to be a State Police officer.
Beginning on the Parkway and continuing to Monmouth Avenue, a victim was chased in a road rage incident by a Manasquan man who continually flashed his lights trying to get the car ahead of him to pull over. Police said the man, Michael Keller, pulled out an I.D. and threatened the unnamed victim. Keller has no affiliation with the State Police, Middletown Detective Sergeant Steve Dollinger said.
He was placed under arrest for a handful of offenses.

A Red Bank man who worked as an organist for a Shrewsbury church faces up to five years in jail for his admission that he sexually assaulted a minor, according to a spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor.
Kenneth Clayton, 66, pleaded guilty to third-degree child endangerment May 31 in state Superior Court in Freehold. The plea came to light after an inquiry Monday by redbankgreen.
According to assistant prosecutor Christopher Gambiccioni, Clayton admitted that he touched a seven-year-old boy’s penis while the child was asleep in Red Bank last September 9.

Mater Dei High School‘s former dean of students was arrested by Middletown police Tuesday on sexual assault charges.
Police say William Miltner, who worked at the school for four years and was promoted to the dean’s post last year, sexually assaulted a student in 2009.
Twenty-eight-year-old Miltner, of Middletown, was charged with second-degree aggravated sexual assault and fourth-degree aggravated sexual contact.
The organist at the Presbyterian Church at Shrewsbury is facing charges arising from an alleged sexual assault of a child, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s office.
Kenneth Clayton, 65, of Red Bank, who also serves as the church’s choir director, was arrested September 17 by Red Bank police and charged with second-degree sexual assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor. A Superior Court judge set bail at $100,000, according to first assistant prosecutor Peter Warshaw.
