Theft: On 04/03/2023 a patrol unit took a report of theft from a vehicle. In the area of Leighton Av., the owner of a vehicle reported a key was stolen from the vehicle. The key was valued at $5.00. Ptl. Jhonatan Quispe.

Theft: On 03/08/2023 a patrol unit took a report of shoplifting. In the area of Water St., an employee reported the theft of four bottles of laundry detergent. The total value of the items was listed at $71.96. Ptl. Shane Dengel.

Criminal Mischief: A patrol unit took a report of graffiti in the area of Monmouth St. On 03/12/2023 an owner of a business reported lettering in black in color spray paint on a fence and on the rear wall of a business. No cost given for the damages. Ptl. Froilan Hernandez.

Theft: On 02/03/2023 a patrol unit took a report of theft from a motor vehicle. In the area of Maple Av., the victim reported the rear passenger side window of a vehicle was broken and a backpack was taken from the vehicle. this just in redbankgreenA teacher who worked for just three days at the Red Bank Charter School in 2020 has been indicted for alleged sexual assaults against four Long Branch elementary school children he taught over the preceding three years, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s office said Tuesday evening.

The alleged assaults occurred in school and on class trips, according to an announcement by Acting Prosecutor Lori Linskey.

[See update below] A former Red Bank Charter School teacher faces “multiple” charges of sex-assaults of elementary school children, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office announced Saturday.
