Red Bank Republicans on Wednesday accused Democratic councilman and party chairman Ed Zipprich of making a not-so-veiled and “bigoted” reference to oral sex about GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence last month.
During the October 4 vice presidential debate between Pence and Democratic nominee Tim Kaine, Zipprich asked on Twitter, “did #mikepence just say he spends time on his knees every day?”
The profile photo of the Twitter user identified as “the Sports Guru,” who Curt Schilling said posted offensive comments about his daughter, is the same one used on Facebook by a Brookdale student named Adam Nagel. Both accounts have since been removed. (Click to enlarge)

Brookdale Community College suspended a student Monday after retired baseball great Curt Schilling outed him as one of at least two Twitter posters who tweeted sexually offensive statements about Schilling’s daughter last week.
The student, who was not identified by the school, was among two or more Twitter users who suggested they would sexually assault Schilling’s daughter, Gabby, after her father announced that she would be attending college Salve Regina University in Rhode Island and pitch for the softball team.
Countering Holland’s version of events, narrated in a series of tweets, 40-year-old Amy Sloan of Howell described the lefty pitcher as “being really obnoxious” and ruining the enjoyment of the Counting Crows fans seated nearby.
Texas Rangers left-hander Derek Holland tweeted, “Did u know that u can get kicked out of a concert for 1 standing up and enjoying the concert an 2 taking to many pictures. Thanks New Jersey,” according to the NBC Sports website.
Though details are hazy, a disruption by a group of concertgoers with Holland may have annoyed others sitting nearby, leading to a dispute that “escalated,” a Basie official tells redbankgreen.
