URBAN OUTFITTERS SHOPPING FOR MANAGER

2-10 BroadCan you manage it? The clothing and household-goods merchant is looking someone to run its Red Bank store when the wraps come off at 2 Broad.

Retailer Urban Outfitters, which has been mum on its plans to open a store in Red Bank, has finally acknowledged the move.

It comes in the form of a job posting for store manager at the emporium planned for 2 Broad Street, at the corner of West Front.

As first reported by redbankgreen, the Philadelphia-based company inked a lease on the site’s entire ground floor in May. Until now, though, the company hadn’t publicly acknowledged its plans to open a Red Bank store.

Now, atop the job posting, the company says it is “pleased to announce the opening of a new location in Red Bank, NJ.” The item indicates the store will open “Fall 2009.”

The posting says candidates must have two-to-three years of experience as a store manager. No salary amount is disclosed in the posting, which says that “[t]he Store Management Team and the Visual Team will receive a bonus by achieving the quarterly sales goal and payroll plan. The bonus is based on the employee’s annual salary, and is payable on a quarterly basis.”
