Broad Street Filling Station, Red Bank’s best spot for lobster BLTs and more, got a nice got a nice review in Sunday’s New York Times Metro section.
We featured these guys a year ago on Red Bank oRBit, our food and entertainment sib site.
Have a bite of what the Times said:
At lunch, the best time to visit, the eclectic mix of options includes a black Angus cheeseburger on a sourdough roll ($8) and a grilled ahi tuna burger with citrus-wasabi aioli ($11). For lighter appetites, thereÂ’s an elegant mesclun and roasted pear salad with crisp haricots verts, gorgonzola and spiced walnuts tossed in port wine vinaigrette ($7).
But try the meaty lobster B.L.T.; this hefty sandwich, slathered with herb mayonnaise, topped with crisp applewood-smoked bacon and served on a brioche bun, was a delicious treat ($15).
