call-in-the-authorities• On February 5, 2013 the Middletown Police Detective Bureau and Quality of Life Unit executed a search warrant at a Campbell Avenue residence in the Belford section of Middletown. The warrant execution was a result of a month long investigation conducted by Detective Kevin Gardiner and Officers Richard Fulham and Anthony Bumbico regarding the sale of illegal narcotics from the home.

Police arrested Daniel Murphy, age 22, for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was also charged with Burglary, Theft and Receiving Stolen Property after police recovered items that had been reported stolen from a vehicle in 2010 as well as street signs stolen from multiple township streets. He was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold, NJ, on $20,607.00 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Thomas Scully of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Police also arrested Conor Murphy, age 21, for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Prohibited Weapons which consisted of brass knuckles and a bat with metal nails hammered through it. He was released after posting $3,500.00 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Thomas Scully.

In addition, police also arrested Daniel Murphy, age 61, on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Woodbridge Municipal Court and Debra Murphy, age 58, on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Fair Haven Municipal Court. Daniel Murphy was held on $757.00 bail and Debra Murphy was released after posting $376.00 bail.

Police confiscated $481.00 in cash as well Marijuana and drug paraphernalia from the residence.

• Dawn Garaffa, age 33, from Ithaca Avenue in Oceanport, NJ, arrested on January 28, 2013 by Patrolman Michael Allen for Shoplifting from the Kohls Store. She was released pending a court date.

• David Ham, age 56, from Kings Highway East in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 28, 2013 by Patrolman Andrew Micalizzi on a Non-Support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. She was held on $3,369.00 bail.

• Ronald McKee, age 18, from Swartzel Drive in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 29, 2013 by Patrolman Anthony Bumbico and Patrolman Richard Fulham of the Quality of Life Unit for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana. He was released pending a court date.

• George Peterson, age 18, from Millbrook Drive in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 29, 2013 by Patrolman Richard Fulham and Patrolman Anthony Bumbico of the Quality of Life Unit for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.

• Paula Nieves, age 33, from Hopping Road in Belford, NJ, arrested on January 29, 2013 by Patrolman Jason Caruso for Harassment and Resisting Arrest. She was released pending a court date.

• Kathleen Wahler, age 30, from Locust Terrace in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 30, 2013 by Patrolman Anthony Dellatacoma for Driving While Intoxicated. She was released pending a court date.

Daniel Wahler, age 27, from Park Avenue in Staten Island, NY, arrested on January 30, 2013 by Patrolman Anthony Dellatacoma for Obstructing an Investigation. He was released pending a court date.

• Christopher Schuyler, age 21, from Dartmouth Drive in Hazlet, NJ, arrested on January 30, 2013 by Patrolman Thomas Hughes for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Heroin. He was released pending a court date.

• Ricky Martinez, age 20, from Creek Road in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on January 30, 2013 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.

• Keenan Johnson, age 21, from Royal Court in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 30, 2013 by Patrolman Anthony Dellatacoma for Disorderly Conduct. He was released pending a court date.

• Bryan Bernstein, age 36, from Browns Dock Road in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, arrested on January 31, 2013 by Patrolman Adam Colfer for Simple Assault. He was released pending a court date.

• William Deppisch, age 24, from Campbell Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 31, 2013 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Holmdel Municipal Court. He was held on $250.00 bail.

• Vivian Tortoriello, age 63, from Beers Street in Keyport, NJ, arrested on January 31, 2013 by Patrolman Daniel Benbrook for Shoplifting from the Sears Store. She was held on $2,500.00 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• David Santoro, age 50, from Campbell Avenue in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on January 31, 2013 by Patrolman Thomas Hughes on a Non-Support warrant issued by the Morris County Superior Court and on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Seaside Park Municipal Court. She was held on bail.

• Josephine Cook, age 50, from Beacon Boulevard in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on January 31, 2013 by Corporal Patricia Colangelo on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. She was released after posting $500.00 bail.

• On January 31, 2013 Patrolman Charles Higgins arrested a 16 year old male juvenile from Belmar, NJ, a 16 year old male juvenile from Red Bank, NJ, a 17 year old male juvenile from Red Bank, NJ, and a 17 year old male juvenile from Middletown, NJ, for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana. All four subjects were released pending a court date.

• John Osborne, age 19, from Brandywine Drive in Matawan, NJ, arrested on February 1, 2013 by Sergeant Michael Kenney for Driving While Intoxicated. He was released pending a court date.

• Stacey Connors, age 44, from Arie Drive in Marlboro, NJ, arrested on February 2, 2013 by Patrolman Albert Scott on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Tinton Falls Municipal Court. She was released after posting $114.00 bail.

• Allen Salvaggi, age 79, from Cross Run Road in Holmdel, NJ, arrested on February 2, 2013 by Patrolman James Beirne for Shoplifting from the Sears Store. He was released pending a court date.

• Andrew Santos, age 26, from Peters Place in Red Bank, NJ, arrested on February 2, 2013 by Patrolman Adam Vendetti on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $250.00 bail.

• Brian Napierkowski, age 24, from Robin Lane in Union, NJ, arrested on February 2, 2013 by Patrolman Adam Vendetti on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Neptune Municipal Court. He was released after posting $850.00 bail.

• Kathleen McAlister, age 31, from Kimberly Court in Middletown, NJ, arrested on February 1, 2013 by Patrolman Antonio Ciccone on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. She was held on $1,000.00 bail.

• Connor Carr, age 20, from Cherry Tree Lane in Middletown, NJ, arrested on February 1, 2013 by Corporal Thomas Meckier on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $1,000.00 bail.

• Barry Seward, age 46, from Washington Avenue in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on February 1, 2013 by Patrolman James Beirne for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.

• Vienna Roessner, age 34, from Main Street in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on February 2, 2013 by Patrolman Ricardo Cruz on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Monroe Municipal Court. She was released after posting $165.00 bail.

• Joseph Colton, age 33, from Delaware Avenue in Navesink, NJ, arrested on February 2, 2013 by Patrolman Ricardo Cruz on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Court. He was released after posting $165.00 bail.

• On February 3, 2013 Patrolman Antonio Ciccone arrested a 17 year old female juvenile from Lincroft, NJ, for Shoplifting from the Kohls Store. She was released pending a court date.

• On February 3, 2013 Patrolman Scott Davis arrested a 16 year old female juvenile from Red Bank, NJ, for Shoplifting from the Kohls Store. She was released pending a court date.

• Joshua Thomas, age 21, from Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, NJ, arrested on February 4, 2013 by Patrolman Michael Pintilie on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Englishtown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $164.00 bail.

• Wayne Hagel, age 52, from Palmer Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on February 4, 2013 by Patrolman Adam Colfer for Criminal Mischief and on a Non-Support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $54,186.38 bail.

• Justin Taylor, age 19, from Mohawk Avenue in Leonardo, NJ, arrested on February 5, 2013 by Patrolman Brian Dilworth for Defiant Trespass. He was released pending a court date.

• Brian Handler, age 20, from Sandy Hook Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on February 5, 2013 by Patrolman Brian Handler for Defiant Trespass. He was released pending a court date.

• Christian Burke, age 38, from Monmouth Street in Red Bank, NJ, arrested on February 5, 2013 by Corporal Gerald Weimer on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $500.00 bail.
