Works by Brooklyn-based street artist Elle were installed in Red Bank Tuesday on the Anderson building, above, and the Buff Building at 25 Bridge Avenue, right, both owned by the Metrovation real estate development firm.
A similar installation in 2015 ran afoul of the borough’s widely criticized sign law, but the town council resolved the issue on an interim basis by allowing the installation through the end of the year, and the zoning board granted permanent approval in December for the display’s return on an ongoing basis, according to a Metrovation spokeswoman.
