CRIMES
Theft: On 06/03/2026 a patrol unit took a report of theft of a bicycle. In the area of W. Bergen Pl., the victim reported a purple and black in color Elite BMX Freestyle bike was stolen from in front of a residence. The bicycle was valued at $297.48. Ptl. Kristin McConnell.
Criminal Mischief: In the area of W. Front St., a patrol unit took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle. On 06/06/2026 the owner reported the driver’s side door handle was damaged. The door handle was valued at $1000.00. Ptl. Preston Mellaci.
Theft: In the area of Monmouth St., a patrol unit took a report of theft from a vehicle. On 06/13/2026 the owner reported the theft of a handicap placard. Ptl. James McGee.
Theft: On 06/15/2026 a patrol unit took a report of theft. In the area of Shrewsbury Av., the victim reported a brown in color bi-fold wallet stolen. The wallet contained $3000.00 in US Currency, 3 debit/credit cards, one business credit card, and a New Jersey Driver’s License. Ptl. Christian Nelson.
Theft: In the area of Leroy Pl., a patrol unit took a report of theft. On 06/18/2026 an employee reported an unknown subject did not pay cab fare. The fare was $266.32. Ptl. Jeffrey Lewandowski.
Theft: On 06/24/2026 a patrol unit took a report of theft. In the area of Branch Av., the victim reported 3 paintings stolen. The paintings were valued between $2000.00 and $3000.00 per piece. Ptl. Taylor Doremus.
Criminal Mischief: In the area of Monmouth St., a patrol unit took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle. On 06/30/2026 the owner reported an individual on an E-Bike struck the side mirror of a vehicle. Ptl. Eliot Ramos.
