RED BANK: DOG DAYS DWINDLE, DOGGONE IT

In another sign of summer’s fadeout, Red Bank is scheduled to host its final Dog Days of Summer meet-‘n-sniff of 2015 Tuesday evening.  

As usual, pet-product vendors and animal welfare advocates will at the event, which runs from 6 to 9 p.m., weather permitting, on Monmouth Street just east of Broad Street. More info is available here(Photos by John T. Ward. Click to enlarge)

dog days 072215 2dog days 072215 6Thrice delayed by weather, the dogs of Red Bank finally had their first Dog Days of Summer meet-‘n-sniff of 2015 Wednesday evening. But the break in the recent heat wave did nothing to reduce the popularity of the kiddie-pool watering holes set out on a closed-to-traffic stretch of Monmouth Street.

RED BANK: WAGGING DOG DAYS GOODBYE

081914rbdogs9081914 rbdogs8Call it doggie speed dating or just a canine social, but the season-ending edition of Dog Days of Summer on Monmouth Street in Red Bank once again brought out man’s best friend by the dozens Tuesday night. We’ve got more photos just through the dog door below.

RED BANK: MEET, GREET, GRAB A TREAT

Dozens of dogs and their human pals turned out on a pleasant summer evening Tuesday for the first edition of Red Bank’s Dog Days, and redbankgreen was there to catch the wags, smiles and occasional slobbers. We’ve got lots more photos after the “read more.”
