Theft: On 06-16-17 it was reported 6 fishing poles valued at approximately $600.00 were taken from the pole holders of a boat that was docked in the area of Marine Park. Ptl. Benjamin Springer.

Theft: On 06-17-17 it was also reported 5 fishing poles described as 2 Penn Fierce II black in color with red etching valued at $150.00 each, 2 Penn Fierce I black in color with red etching valued at $ 150.00 each and 1 Shakespeare fishing pole valued at $80.00 was taken from a boat docked in the area of Marine Park. Theft: On 06-05-17 in the area of Monmouth St it was reported an unknown black male took a tip jar from the business. The jar is described as clear with a red lid and contained approximately $100.00. Ptl. Jhonathan Quispe.

Theft: On 06-11-17 in the area of Shrewsbury Ave it was reported a bald black male described as early 40’s, approximately 6 feet, clean shaven wearing a white t-shirt and tan shorts was seen leaving a store without paying for an item. Ptl. Jhonathan Quispe.

Theft: On 4-23-17 in the area of Broad St it was reported that a wallet was taken from a table. The wallet is described as a black Louis Vuitton wallet with brown logos on it valued at $800.00. The wallet contained $200 cash, several credit cards, NJ license. Ptl. Jorge Torres.

Criminal Mischief: On 04-27-17 in the area of Broad St it was reported that a door to a business was attempted to be forced open. Multiple scratches around door lock and frame partially bent causing an estimate of $500.00 in damages. Ptl. David Smith.

In the midst of the Bridgegate scandal surrounding Governor Chris Christie over alleged paybacks to Democratic New Jersey mayors who refused to endorse his re-election last year, inquiring minds want to know:

What about Dina Long?

The mayor of Sea Bright endorsed Christie’s re-election early in the cycle last February, calling him a “hero,” and shocked fellow Democratic officials.

Given that the mayors of Fort Lee, Jersey City and Hoboken now say they were pressed for endorsements by the Republican incumbent, and endured some retaliation for not doing so, some natural questions come to mind:

Who first brought up the idea of Long endorsing Christie? Did she feel there was quid pro quo situation being foisted on her? Does she stand by her endorsement?
