call-in-the-authorities• On October 26, 2011 Detective Kelly Godley and Detective Daniel Sullivan arrested John Lachawiec, age 23, from Edgemore Drive in Belford, NJ, for Burglary and Theft as a result of an investigation into burglaries that occurred at residences on Hillside Avenue and Delta Court.

Police say Lachawiec was charged after police located evidence at the scene linking him to the burglaries. He is being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold, NJ, on $35,000.00 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• On October 26, 2011 at approximately 11:05 pm Patrolman Stephen Greenwood responded to the area of Throne School in reference to a report of an assault. Upon arrival he was advised by the victim that he had been assaulted and had $30.00 taken from him. The victim reportedly knew the subject who assaulted him who was identified as Kyle Clayton, age 19, from Thousand Oaks Drive in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.

Officer Greenwood conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrest of Clayton for Robbery and Simple Assault. He was being held pending bail being set.

• On October 26, 2011 at approximately 5:05 am Patrolman Charles Higgins responded to the area of Oak Street in reference to a subject who was observed breaking into cars. Upon arrival the officer was advised by a witness that he observed a male subject breaking into a vehicle and provided the officer with a description of the suspect which was then broadcasted to other officers in the area.

Officer Higgins located the suspect, identified as Paul French, age 21, from Main Street in Port Monmouth, NJ, on a nearby street. He conducted an investigation which resulted in French being arrested for Burglary, Theft and Obstructing an Investigation and the recovery of items that were stolen from vehicles in the area. Officer Higgins also determined that there was an outstanding Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Old Bridge Municipal Court for his arrest.

French was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and was being held on $8,240.00 bail.

• The Middletown Police Department reports the arrests of the following subjects for various offenses:

Joseph Lepkoski, age 20, from Gillville Lane, arrested on October 26, 2011 by Patrolman James Beirne for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana. He was released pending a court date.

Michael Bartos, age 58, from Bayside Drive in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, arrested on October 26, 2011 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $500.00 bail.

Douglas Anderson, age 25, from Robin Court in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 26, 2011 by Patrolman James Beirne for Simple Assault. He was released pending a court date.

Adrian Leka, age 26, from Grashmere Avenue in Staten Island, NY, arrested on October 26, 2011 by Corporal Thomas Meckier for Obstructing an Investigation and Disorderly Conduct. He was released pending a court date.

David Foggy, age 40, from Shore Boulevard in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on October 27, 2011 by Patrolman Anthony Bumbico for Disorderly Conduct. He was released pending a court date.

Christina Sevret, age 36, from Holmdel Road in Hazlet, NJ, arrested on October 27, 2011 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Obstructing an Investigation. She was released pending a court date.

Michael Anello, age 52, from Holly Place in Northvale, NJ, arrested on October 27, 2011 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Obstructing an Investigation. He was released pending a court date.

John  McCann, age 37, from Center Street in Sea Bright, NJ, arrested on October 27, 2011 by Patrolman John Mele for Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to Breath Tests, and Reckless Driving. He was released pending a court date.

Michael Separovich, age 19, from Morris Avenue in Belford, NJ, arrested on October 27, 2011 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood for Obstructing an Investigation, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct.  He was released pending a court date.

James Farley, age 19, from Monmouth Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 27, 2011 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood for Obstructing an Investigation, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief. He was released pending a court date.

George Monath, age 34, from East Highlands Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, arrested on October 28, 2011 by Patrolman Robert McNair for Criminal Mischief. He was released pending a court date.

Nicole Clancy, age 25, from Baldwin Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 28, 2011 by Patrolman Brian McGrogan on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Tinton Falls Municipal Court. She was released after posting $90.00 bail.

Joseph Marelli, age 24, from Freemont Lane in Holmdel, NJ, arrested on October 27, 2011 by Patrolman James Beirne for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana. He was released pending a court date.

James Elliassen, age 27, from Ninth Street in Belford, NJ, arrested on October 27, 2011 by Patrolman Jason Caruso on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $500.00 bail.

On October, 27, 2011 Patrolman Michael Nolan arrested a 16 year old male juvenile from Belford, NJ, for Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing an Investigation and Resisting Arrest. He was released pending a court date.

Jeffrey Brinser, age 21, from South Concourse Avenue in Cliffwood Beach, NJ, arrested on October 25, 2011 by Patrolman Antonio Ciccone for Possession of Heroin. He was released pending a court date.

Victor Navarro, age 18, from Maple Avenue in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on October 25, 2011 by Patrolman Antonio Ciccone for Possession of Heroin. He was released pending a court date.

Jamie Hentschel, age 23, from East Church Street in Sea Bright, NJ, arrested on October 25, 2011 by Corporal Bernard Chenoweth for Hindering Apprehension. She was released pending a court date.

Christopher Hegarty, age 23, from Clubhouse Drive in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 25, 2011 by Corporal Bernard Chenoweth for Possession of Heroin, Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest. He was held on $15,000.00 bail.

Ronald Winter, age 38, from Dr. James Parker Boulevard in Red Bank, NJ, arrested on October 28, 2011 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte for Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving. He was released pending a court date.
