On February 27, 2013 the Middletown Police Detective Bureau and Quality of Life Unit executed a search warrant at a Hudson Avenue residence. The warrant execution was a result of a month long investigation conducted by Detectives Kevin Gardiner and Laurence Schachtel and Officers Richard Fulham and Anthony Bumbico regarding the distribution of narcotics from the residence.
Police charged Salvatore Sarna, age 20; Scott Leimsider, age 28; and Alexnadra Sarna, age 23, with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Alexandra Sarna was also charged with Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. All three subjects lived at the residence and were released pending a court date.
Steven Maritato, age 51, from Southview Terrace in Middletown, NJ, arrested on February 23, 2013 by Patrolman Adam Colfer for Driving While Intoxicated. He was released pending a court date.
Buddy Carson, age 37, from Broadway Way in Keyport, NJ, arrested on February 23, 2013 by Patrolman Daniel Benbrook for Theft. He was released pending a court date.
