FAIR HAVEN CRIME & ARREST REPORTS

Crime and arrest reports, unedited, as provided by the Fair Haven Police Department for the month of February, 2015.

authorities_fh2-208269302/06-Garry Vandemark 2nd, 32, Atlantic Highlands, was placed under arrest following a traffic stop. Mr. Vandemark was charged for driving while suspended, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Obstruction. Subject was processed and released pending a Fair Haven Court Appearance. S/O Brooks Robinson was the arresting Officer.

02/06- Linden Drive resident reported that an unknown subject(s) had filed a fraudulent 2014 tax return in his name. Ptl. John Koetzner is the investigating Officer.

02/09- A River Road business reported that an unknown subject(s) had broken a window in the front of her store. Cpl. John Waltz was dispatched and took the criminal mischief

02-10-Sheikh Bilal, 50, Jersey City, was placed under arrest following a traffic stop after a full extradition warrant out of Louisiana was located. Charges included two felony counts of worthless checks. Subject was placed under arrested and charged by S/O. Brooks Robinson with being an Fugitive from Justice. Bail was set at $100,000.00 dollars with no 10% option. Mr. Bihal was transported to MCCI to await extradition to Louisiana to face his previous charges.

02-11- A Gillespie Ave resident reported that they had video surveillance of an unknown male trespassing on their private property. Det. Stephen Schneider investigated and was able to identify the subject as a juvenile. Case forwarded to the Juvenile Officer Ptl. William Lagrotteria for review.

02-16- A Highland Ave resident reported that an unknown subject(s) attempted to file a fraudulent tax return in her name. Det. Stephen Schneider took the report and is investigating.

02/24- An Oxford Ave resident reported fraudulent charges on her debit card. Ptl. Dwayne Reevey took the report and is investigating.

02/28-Ryan Marchese, 18, Red Bank, was placed under arrest following a traffic stop where an active warrant was located out of Middletown for his arrest. Subject was processed and released after posting bail. S/O Brooks Robinson was the arresting Officer.

Remember: Nothing makes a Red Bank friend happier than to hear "I saw you on Red Bank Green!"
