Little Silver police made seven arrests Tuesday in what authorities allege was a brazen, multistate attempt by more than 100 suspects to exploit a flaw in the ATM system at Santander Bank branches.

SHREWSBURY: PAIR CHARGED IN ATM SCHEME

shrews suspect 081115 1Shrewsbury police arrested two men on fraud-related charges after they rigged a bank ATM machine with data-stealing equipment Sunday, redbankgreen has learned.

Drini Kupi, 26, and Mejdina Miodrag, 32, both of Ridgewood, New York, were apprehended. A third suspect, seen in the surveillance photo at right and and below, is being sought by police, Lieutenant Bob Turner said in a prepared statement.
