LITTLE SILVER POLICE BLOTTER FOR DECEMBER

December 1– Kachina Whittaker, 40, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Oceanport Ave. and charged with Hindering Apprehension for providing false information to a police officer. Whittaker was also charged with several other motor vehicle violations and had active Contempt of Court warrants out of the Red Bank, Tinton Falls and Brick Municipal Courts. P.O. Amanda Arnold made the arrest.

December 1– A resident from Willow Dr. reported Criminal Mischief after discovering that an unknown subject(s) knocked his mailbox down sometime during the early morning hours. Sgt. Kevin Halpin investigated.

December 4– A resident from Pine Dr. reported Theft after discovering a piece of art work was missing from inside the residence. P.O. Eric Van Schaack investigated.

December 5– Daevon LeGrand, 21, of Eatontown, NJ, was arrested on Prospect Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Ocean Township Municipal Court. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

December 5– A commuter from Shrewsbury, NJ, reported Burglary/Theft after discovering that an unknown subject(s) stole the parking permit from inside his vehicle while it was parked at the Little Silver train station. P.O. Frank Salerno and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

December 6– A victim reported Theft on Ridge Rd. after discovering that his cell phone had been stolen. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

December 6– Elio Kasim-Ladicani, 2nd, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. for active Contempt of Court warrants out of the Summit and Springfield Municipal Courts. P.O. Eric Van Schaack investigated.

December 8– A resident from Hickory Ln. reported Criminal Mischief after discovering that an unknown subject(s) caused damage to their vehicle during the evening hours. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. investigated.

December 13– Librado Garcia-Lopez, 35, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. and charged with Driving While Intoxicated along with several other motor vehicle violations. P.O. Amanda Arnold made the arrest.

December 14– Anthony Hill, 31, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Monmouth County Superior Court. P.O. Amanda Arnold made the arrest.

December 19– Jonathan Merklinger, 29, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Parker Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Ocean Township Municipal Court. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

December 19– A female juvenile, 15, and male juvenile, 16, both of Red Bank, NJ, were arrested and charged with Simple Assault following an investigation on Ridge Rd. P.O. Robert Chenoweth made the arrests.

December 20– Jennifer Tuttle, 34, of Charlotte, NC, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Myrtle Ave. for Driving While Intoxicated. Tuttle was also charged with several other motor vehicle violations. P.O. Amanda Arnold made the arrest.

December 21– Anthony Alagona, 39, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Pinckney Rd. for active Contempt of Court warrants out of the Red Bank and Hazlet Municipal Courts. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

December 22– Blake Behar, 20, of Manalapan, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Rumson Rd. for Driving While Intoxicated and Underage Consumption of Alcohol. Behar also received several motor vehicle violations. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

December 26– Ajhan Wilson, 19, of Red Bank, NJ was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Silverside Ave. for Underage Driving While Intoxicated and Underage Consumption of Alcohol. Wilson also received several motor vehicle violations. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

December 27– John Henning, 3rd, 21, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following an investigation on Ruddy Ct. and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Disorderly Conduct. Sgt. Kevin Halpin made the arrest.

December 27– A resident from Queens Drive South reported Harassment after receiving several harassing phone calls. P.O. Peter Giblin investigated.

December 28– Paul Cherenfant, Jr., 22, of Brick, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Rumson Rd. for Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

December 29– George Gaines, Jr., 23, of Asbury Park, NJ, was arrested following a suspicious person complaint on Branch Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Neptune Township Municipal Court. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

December 29– Matthew Daniels, 21, of Asbury Park, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Bradley Beach Municipal Court. Sgt. Kevin Halpin made the arrest.
