LITTLE SILVER: RECENT CRIMES AND ARRESTS

February 3– A victim from Ridge Rd. reported Theft after discovering that an unknown subject(s) stole her cell phone sometime throughout the day. P. O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

February 4– Rodney Williams, 19, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following an investigation at the Acme Supermarket on Prospect Ave. and charged with Theft. P.O. Frank Salerno made the arrest.

February 7– The manager of CVS Pharmacy on Prospect Ave. reported a Shoplifting after discovering that an unknown female subject stole numerous pieces of cosmetics and left the store prior to police arrival. Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

February 8– An employee from a business on Sycamore Ave. reported Criminal Mischief/Theft after discovering that an unknown subject(s) caused damage to a light on the sign board out front of the business and stole a business name off the sign board as well as a decorative post. P.O. Peter Giblin investigated.

February 8– A resident from Rumson Pl. reported Fraud after discovering that an unknown person(s) opened up a credit card account in his name. P.O. Taylor Doremus and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

February 8– An employee on Ridge Rd. reported Fraud/Identity Theft after discovering that an unknown person(s) had created counterfeit checks and attempted to get them cashed. P.O. Robert Chenoweth and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

February 12– Jaye Bruno, 57, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested at the Little Silver Police Department for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Wall Township Municipal Court in the amount of $96.00. P.O. Brian Conover made the arrest.

February 15– Noemi Meza-Hernandez, 29, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Silverside Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Red Bank Municipal Court in the amount of $489.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

February 17– Salvatore DiMauro, 63, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Silverside Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Little Silver Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

February 17– A male juvenile, 16, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested following an investigation on Ridge Rd. for Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams. P.O. Robert Chenoweth made the arrest.

February 17– A resident from Woodland St. reported Theft after discovering that she had some jewelry stolen from her residence. P.O. Taylor Doremus and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

February 19– Sergio Campos, 30, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Oceanport Ave. for Driving While Intoxicated. P.O. Brian Conover made the arrest.

February 19– A resident from Southvale Ave. reported Identity Theft after learning that an unknown subject(s) used their credit card information to purchase merchandise. P.O. Andrew Smith and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

February 23– A resident from Northvale Ave. reported Theft after discovering that an unknown person(s) removed items from his home office. Sgt. Martin Scherzinger and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

February 25– Jennifer Allport, 25, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Sycamore Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Little Silver Municipal Court in the amount of $519.00. P.O. Andrew Smith made the arrest.

February 26– John Arnone, Jr., 24, of Shrewsbury, NJ, was arrested on Prospect Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Rumson Municipal Court in the amount of $164.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

February 27– Christopher Ward, 30, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Laurie Ln. for Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. P.O. Brian Conover made the arrest.

February 27– Brittany Workman, 27, of Oceanport, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Oceanport Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Neptune Township Municipal Court in the amount of $350.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.
