Shrewsbury is set to get a tapas and wine bar in coming months, redbankgreen has confirmed.
Terra Momo Restaurant Group, which operates several restaurants in and around Princeton, has leased 2,000 square feet in a new Metrovation-owned building on Broad Street, opposite the Grove shopping center, principal Chris Cole confirmed Wednesday.
The restaurant, to be called Albarino, is expected to open in the spring at the two-business address, an extension of Metrovation’s Grove West at Shrewsbury. Country Curtains is the site’s other tenant.
Albrarino is expected to buy the liquor license that Cole acquired from the former Memory Bowling on Newman Springs Road, which burned down 2009 and has since been replaced by a three-store strip mall. (Photo by John T. Ward. Click to enlarge)
