The following are entries from the Red Bank Police Department log for the week of August 22. The information, supplied by the department, is unedited.

Criminal Mischief occurring between 8-21-08 and 8-22-08 at Leighton Ave. Victim reported that unknown person(s) slashed tire on parked vehicle. Ptl. Thomas Doremus.

Auto Theft occurring between 8-15-08 and 8-22-08 at West Front St. Victim reported that his car was parked at above address and when he went to retrieve it was gone. Vehicle described as 1990 two tone blue Chevy Suburan, Ptl. David Smith.

Criminal Mischief reported on 8-22-08 at Broad St. Owner reported that there has been debris and garbage at the front entrance to business. Ptl. James DePonte.

Criminal Mischief occurring on 8-23-08 in front of a Broad Street restaurant. Park bench was damaged, the cast iron legs broken off same by unknown person(s). Sgt. Joseph Milko.

Burglary occurring on 8-25-08 at River St. residence. Victims reported that unknown person(s) gained entry into residence and ransacked the bedrooms. Stolen were several pieces of jewelry, cash and video recorder. Sgt. Eliot Ramos.

Burglary occurring on 8-26-08 at Catherine St. residence. Victim reported that unknown person(s) kicked the door in and gained entry, then ransacked house. Nothing reported missing. Ptl. Paul Perez.

Theft occurring between 8-26-08 and 8-27-08 at River St. Victim reported that unknown person(s) entered parked vehicle and removed coins and a radar detector. Ptl. Michael Campanella.

Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief occurring at Bank Street on 8-27-08. Victim reported that parked vehicle was broken into, window smashed. Stolen was purse which contained cash. Anthony Stathum was arrested for Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief in this case. Ptl. James DePonte.

Criminal Mischief occurring at Mechanic St. on 8-29-08. Overhead door to building was damaged by unknown person kicking in aluminum panel. Ptl. Beau Broadley.

Armando Cruz, age 21 male from Red Bank was arrested on 8-28-08 in the area of Monmouth St. for Simple Assault by Ptl. Thomas Doremus

David A. Bettencourt, male, age 36 of Long Branch was arrested on 8-28-08 in the area of Hubbard’s Bridge for DWI by Ptl. Robert Gannon.

Jeremy Marshall, age 20 male from Spring Lake was arrested on 8-28-08 in the area of Newman Springs Road for DWI and Underage DWI by Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Richard C. Demott, age 56 male from Tinton Falls was arrested on Main St. Asbury Park for Robbery which occurred on Water St. on 8-27-08 by Det. Robert Clayton.

Jorge Perez-Grande, age 20 male from Red Bank was arrested on 8-27-08 in the area of Catherine St. for Disorderly Conduct by Ptl. Paul Perez.

Michael L. Johnson, age 25 male from Red Bank was arrested on 8-27-08 in the area of Montgomery Terrace for Poss. of CDS Marijuana Under 50 grams and Disorderly Conduct by Ptl. John Camarca.

A juvenile male age 16 was arrested on 8-27-08 in the area of South St. for DWI and Underage DWI by Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Anthony Clyde Stathum, age 45 male from Red Bank was arrested on 8-27-08 in the area of Bank St. for Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Theft by Ptl. James DePonte.

Paul A. Huntsman, age 76 male of Red Bank was arrested in the area of Bodman Place on 8-27-08 for DWI by Lt. Darren McConnell.

Israel Garcia-Brionex, age 22 male from Red Bank was arrested on 8-25-08 in the area of Monmouth St. for Criminal Mischief by Ptl. Paul Perez.

Shapell A. Kendrick, age 28 male from Deptford, NJ was arrested on 8-25-08 in the area of W. Westside Ave. for Poss. of CDS, Crack Cocaine, Dist. Of CDS or Intent to Dist. CDS, Poss. of CDS within 500 ft of a park or pub housing and Hindering Apprehension by Sgt. Richard Mangold.

Sergio Juarez-Gusman, age 23 male of Red Bank was arrested on 8-23-08 in the area of Shrewsbury Ave. and Earl St. for Unlawful Poss. of Weapons, Terroristic Threats and Poss. of Weapon with unlawful purpose by Ptl. James DePonte.

Jacobus E. Langford, age 53 male of Red Bank was arrested on 8-23-08 in the area of Maple Ave. for DWI by Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Emmanuel Espinosa-Panohoya, age 20 male of Red Bank was arrested on 8-23—8 in the area of Maple Ave. for DWI by Ptl. George Travostino.

Two juvenile males from Red Bank were arrested on 8-23-08 in the area of Maple Ave. for Underage Consumption of Alcohol by Ptl. George Travostino.
