pux_2010If he made a really bad wrong turn, Punxsutawney’s most famous resident might end up here, on the Middletown side of the Navesink River, among the cows near McClee’s Creek.

Tuesday is Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Which means it’s time for Punxsutawney Phil‘s annual sunrise photo op outside his burrow for his unintended weather-forecast.

According to lore, if Phil sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter weather. If he does not see his shadow, there will be an early spring.

What’s your guess as to what will happen? Have at it, punx…

UPDATE: The Associated Press reports that the little feller saw his shadow Tuesday morning, so don’t pack away those parkas just yet.]
