LINCROFT: A BIG LIFT FOR CBA STUDENTS

The start of the academic year may be approaching fast, but a pair of student athletes from Christian Brothers Academy — rising junior and wrestling/ jiu-jitsu competitor Christian Recanatini (left) plus rising sophomore and basketball/ lacrosse team member Tim Murray (right) — found a great way to get psyched up for a semester of accomplishment, when they joined CBA Strength and Conditioning Coach Steve Bare (center) to compete in a USA Weightlifting meet in Andover, NJ. The trio racked up some impressive honors in the intense outdoor heat, with Recanatini awarded Bronze honors for the Junior 69kg class, and Murray achieving Gold for the Junior 105kg class. Coach Bare was awarded Silver in the senior 94kg class, and qualified for the USA Weightlifting 2016 u25 National Championships.

Remember: Nothing makes a Red Bank friend happier than to hear "I saw you on Red Bank Green!"
