A town square for an unsquare town

Standing for the vitality of Red Bank, its community, and the fun we have together.

WHERE HAVE I SEEN THIS?

Are you familiar with the scene depicted above? Do you retain a memory of its location? Please send us an email and tell us Where you think it is.

Last week’s photo had this old jalopy of a weekly feature humming like a new Aston-Martin. Forty-three readers wrote in, and every one of them correctly identified what one, Nancy White, called “the caught-in-a-time-warp signage” at Rassas Buick, an iconic auto dealership at Broad Street and Maple Avenue in Red Bank. Our black & white shot was taken from the back side of the sign over the used-car lot there.

Thanks for taking the time to write go out to Steve Goldsmith, Paul Finn, Lucille Dietz, Diane Kazalski, Tracy McMahon, Tim Lake, Barbara Lastella Chachko, Wade Davis, Brian Phillips, Jenn Woods, Daniel Kane, Frederick Stone, Dave Connor, Pete DeFazio, Dan Mancuso, Eric Luehmann, Andrew McCann, David Crowton, Brett Beach, Robert Clark, Pat Noble, John Rooney, the Colmorgen Kids, Craig Widmaier, Jillian Florio, Lindsey Hintelmann, Mike Simpson, David Seitz, Alan Fisher, Joe Pagnotta, Rosie Perry, Wendy Giguere, Ginni Koehler, “sbpwjm,” Bill McKenna, Jacob Straus, Peggy Robinson, Jackie Patterson, Sandra Talarico, Peg Riley, Nancy White, Trish DePonti and Dave Martin.
