IN oRBit: EVERYBODY’S A PLAYER

Noworbiting_iconVeronicaCarolynIt’s still Theater Week of Sorts over on our satellite site Red Bank oRBit, and today we drop in on the  Monmouth Players, a 56-year-old troupe that’s been up to some interesting things way out in the “old, weird” precincts of Middletown.

This weekend sees the debut of a program of one-act playlets entitled Stranger Things Have Happened, and oRBit happened by the old Navesink Library one night for rehearsal. We saw a light on in the window; just wanted to check and see if everything was alright…

Also in today’s issue is a little reminder that it’s never too late to make a New Years’ resolution — not when Red Bank’s own Siam Garden restaurant gears up to celebrate Songkran, the traditional Thai New Year observance that follows our own tradition-steeped Tea Party observances here in the USA.

The tea kettle and a light are always on in Red Bank oRBit
