Back in January, when we last checked in with Fair Haven’s Balderose Fine Foods, Tony Balderose was just getting ready to reopen his doors after several months hiatus.
PieHole stopped back in Friday morning, and ordered up the curry chicken salad on a sub roll ($6.99).
Fantastic bread, good sandwich with a nice amount of curry seasoning, although it was missing two of PieHole‘s must-have ingredients for this salad: golden raisins and a diced Granny Smith.
Balderose tell PieHole that he’ll be offering some additional fish items for Fish Fridays during Lent. He showed us a tasty looking cornmeal-dipped tile fish. This evening, he’ll also have a halibut dish and a salmon on the menu.
Balderose Fine Foods is officially open until 5:30 pm. but Balderose tells PieHole that the lights are usually on and the doors opened until after 6 on most nights.
