RED BANK: AUTUMN TO END IN HEAVY RAIN

red bank nj weatherThe final day of autumn, 2018 will include a bit of frost, some sunshine and the start of a heavy rainfall on the Greater Red Bank Green, according to the National Weather Service.

After a day of partly sunny skies and temperatures peaking near 50 degrees, rain is likely to begin later in the day and continue through Friday. Up to three inches may fall, says the NWS, which has issued flooding and wind advisories.

The Greater Red Bank Green is in for a windy day Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service

West-northwest winds will gust at 40 to 50 miles per hour, especially from late morning through mid-afternoon. Though the strong winds will produce wind chills in the 20’s in the morning, the daytime peak is expected to reach the mid-40s.

RED BANK: ANOTHER SOAKING IN FORECAST

red bank weather rainAfter a downpour Saturday night and early Sunday that left waterways running high, more rain is headed to the Greater Red Bank Green Monday, according to the National Weather Service

A flood watch is in effect as up to three-quarters of an inch could fall from 1 p.m. into the evening, according to the forecast. Temperatures are expected to peak in the low 50s.

The Greater Red Bank Green could experience one of the coldest Thanksgiving Days on record Thursday.

But first, expect a sunny, windy Wednesday, with peak temperatures in the mid-40s, according to the National Weather Service
